Project Summary
The project that Social 10 and Culinary Arts will work on this semester is to work on creating a school culture of global citizenship related to food choice.
In mixed groups of Social Studies and Culinary Arts students you will work to show the Social, Political, Economic, Environmental cost of our food choices. Select an food item that we use in our Culinary Kitchen from the list below. Then in your group work to create a Final Product that will demonstrate your learning in four main areas: Global Citizenship, Global Footprint, Testing the Process, Documentary.
You may choose to showcase your project as you choose. Our sample for you is done using Weebly. Let Mrs. Storey and Chef Penner know how you will showcase your learning. Click on the four project headings and the Rubric for a guide of our expectations and project area descriptions.

Turkey, Chicken, Pork, Spinach, Tomatoes, Carrots, Brownies, Peppers, Micro Greens, Potatoes, Beef, Milk, Cheese, Sour Cream, Apples, Coffee, Tea. If you would like to select a different food item from this list -- please check in with Mrs. Storey or Chef Penner
